4th Round Pick: DE Bronson Kaufusi, BYU

The Falcons took DE Vic Beasley with the 6th overall pick in 2015 but they still need more pass rushers. So going after Bronson Kaufusi here may be a good move.

Kaufasi was a beast at BYU recording 18 TFL and 10 sacks in his senior season. In total for his career he tallied 42.5 TFL and 25.5 sacks.

He’s 6′-6″ 285, so he’s on the bigger side of defensive ends which works as a contrast to the 6′-3″ 235 pound Beasley on the other side.

Likely with a 4th round selection here Kaufasi would be a guy who doesn’t start right away but maybe plays on 1st and 2nd down or as a backup until he’s ready for full-time.

The Falcons have been severely lacking a pass rush ever since John Abraham exited stage left. They need as much help as they can get so using this pick for another end would be a good idea.
