It is silly season in the world of NFL Draft coverage, with the combine and Pro Days in the rear view mirror. What does that mean? Well, there isn’t actually anything happening with regard to the draft process (outside of individual meetings with teams), but that won’t stop the machine from churning as the draft rapidly approaches.

Today, we will be taking on another mock draft, and this time, it will be modeled around the work of ESPN’s Todd McShay. Prior to this, we have based mocks on the big boards of both ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, and while McShay is the “other” analyst at the worldwide leader in sports, that has been a profitable enterprise for the former backup quarterback of the Richmond Spiders.

For background, we will be using McShay’s insider top 32 rankings to guide our path, with the express knowledge that things are fluid when it comes to team needs. We will undoubtedly take a few liberties to move players around to achieve optimal fits and the words written will be ours, but McShay’s rankings are certainly worth considering and that is our challenge today.

The NFL Draft is almost here and that is extremely intriguing for every franchise in the league, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats. Let’s get to this week’s mock, beginning with what the Tennessee Titans will be doing when the draft opens on Thursday, Apr. 28.
