The 2016 NFL Draft is less than three weeks away and “big boards” are being finalized all over the football world. Last week, we took a deep dive into the thoughts of ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr., applying his current big board to a full-blown first round mock draft. In today’s edition, we will do the same thing with another prominent member of NFL Draft punditry.

Matt Miller of Bleacher Report has emerged as one of the leading internet voices when it comes to evaluating the NFL, and no one can question his work ethic or attention to detail when breaking down film. He is perhaps best known for his work on “NFL 1000” — where he ranks the top players at each and every position (even punters) — but his draft work is excellent as well, even if some disagree with his occasional “out of the box” thinking.

As with the mock centered on Kiper’s rankings, we will take a few liberties with Miller’s rankings when it comes to team needs — that is simply the nature of the beast when it comes to projecting the NFL draft. However, there is a very interesting difference between the two experts at the top of the draft, and that will set the tone for the remaining picks as we attempt to look at this draft class from Miller’s perspective.

Now, let’s get to the actual picks. As they have been since the close of the 2015 NFL season, the Titans are on the clock.
