In his three season in Waco, Texas, Coleman blew past any and all realistic expectations by becoming one of the most productive wide receivers to step foot on campus. In 2014, the redshirt sophomore emerged as a top talent, earning second-team All-Big 12 after totaling 64 receptions, 1,119 yards, and 11 touchdowns.
The following year the explosive receiver absolutely dominated on Saturdays, racking up 74 receptions, 1,363 yards, and 20 touchdowns. Coleman was subsequently showered in honors, earning the Biletnikoff Award as the nations best receiver, first team All-Big 12, and was named an unanimous All-American.

Coleman missed his final game as a Baylor Bear with a sports hernia injury, but appears to fully healthy heading into the 2016 NFL Draft.
Several receivers under Art Briles’ spread offense have amassed impressive totals in college while under vastly performing as professionals (see Kendell Wright, Terrence Williams, and Tevin Reese). However, Corey Coleman may be able to break the mold with scouts praising his straight-line speed, blazing quickness, leaping ability, and experience as a ball carrier.
