With many teams traveling today, there are just seven games on tap for tonight in Major League Baseball giving us a select group of 14 teams scheduled to take the field tonight.  There are still plenty of ways to build your fantasy baseball team though, so check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides to see who I think you should be targeting for your team today.

More from FanDuel

Lineups on FanDuel lock at their usual time tonight at 7:05 PM ET when the Yankees and Angels get things underway in the Bronx.  The Blue Jays-Orioles and Reds-Cardinals games start shortly after in a pair of divisional games. At 8:10 the Mets visit the Brewers and the Twins finish up their series with the Marlins while the Nationals and White Sox are scheduled to get underway at 8:10 as well.  Be very careful with that game though since its looking pretty soggy in the Windy City tonight. It could rain in Milwaukee and Seattle as well, but those stadiums are equipped with a retractable roof which will prevent the game from being effective.  The only late game is the one at SafeCo where Seattle finishes out its series with  the Indians.

As we continue into the dog days of summer with my full fantasy baseball coverage, my FanDuel daily picks will be posted each morning here at FanSided. My picks are designed to provide you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position. For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options.  I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

In my daily basketball picks, it was very helpful to rank my picks every morning using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our FanSided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. Make sure to follow on Twitter for any late-breaking lineup news as well and any adjustments as lineups come out throughout this Thursday.
