FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy baseball lineup-July 7
Nine games on the MLB schedule tonight give us plenty of options for DFS fantasy baseball, so check out my favorites in today’s FanDuel daily picks.
Major League Baseball features nine games under the lights tonight as the 18 teams get an early start to their weekend series. All nine contests are the first of four-game sets that will lead teams into the All-Star break which starts on Monday of next week. There’s still plenty of DFS fantasy baseball to get to first, though, including the solid slate tonight. To see the players I think you should consider for your fantasy baseball team tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.
Tonight’s action starts at 7:07 PM ET with the Tigers in Toronto to take on the Blue Jays. At 7:10, two more games start as the Indians host the Yankees and the Mets welcoming in the Nationals. As we move to the Midwest, the Cubs host the Braves at 8:05 and the Royals welcome in the Mariners at 8:15 while in Texas the Rangers host the Twins at 8:05 and the Astros take on the A’s at 8:10. The Rockies and Phillies also meet in the 8:00 hour as they face off in the rarified air of Coors Field at 8:40. The night closes out with the final matchup of the day as Dodgers’ starter Hyun-Jin Ryu makes his 2016 debut against the Padres in LA.
As we head into the weekend before the All Star break, make sure to stay tuned to all our fantasy baseball coverage here at FanSided. For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.
I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
