Pokemon GO Cheat: How to quickly get more Pokeballs/eggs

Pokemon GO made it a little easier to get more Pokeballs and eggs.

Mobile app Pokemon GO has taken over the world (or at least the parts of the world where it’s available) since its release late last week. The augmented reality app lets you walk around and catch Pokemon on your phone.

If you are like me, this catching part can be a bit of a struggle. It requires more than just pressing a button and selecting your Pokeball of choice, as you do in the handheld games. That means that you can go through plenty of Pokeballs in the quest to catch even one Pokemon.

Now, going to a PokeStop, which is a real-world point of interest, is an easy way to get more Pokeballs. Once you visit one and get the goodies, it turns purple, and you have to wait a while before you can visit again, right?

Wrong. PokeStops refresh in under ten minutes, and sometimes in around five or less.

This means that, should you be so lucky as to live, work, or frequent somewhere that has a nearby PokeStop, you can open the app every few minutes to spin that little disk and get more Pokeballs and eggs.

It’s not known how to make PokeStops give out more Pokeballs; it appears to be randomized. However, with the quick refresh rate, it’s easy to get a few dozen Pokeballs every hour. That means that you don’t have to rely on level ups or spend money to get more Pokeballs.

PokeStops also give out Pokemon Eggs, which you can then incubate to get new Pokemon. Though Eggs are not given out as often as Pokeballs are, the PokeStop refresh rate means there are more chances to get more Eggs.

Repeatedly visiting PokeStops is a slow way to also grind experience, with each visit giving you 50 XP.

Pokemon GO is currently available for download in the App Store and on Google Play. Now go forth and catch ’em all.
