Draymond Green’s mugshot from his arrest in Michigan over the weekend has been released.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was arrested on assault charges. Green apparently slapped a football player from his Alma Mater, Michigan State, in the face who was heckling him during a night out in Michigan. The Golden State Warriors have already released a statement regarding the incident but have decided they won’t comment further until more details are released.
While many people are questioning Green’s actions, basketball Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley came to Green’s defense. On The Dan LeBatard Show , Barkley said, “More power to Draymond for slapping the hell out of that kid.” Barkley also went on to blame the media for causing incidents like this to occur.
Green does not seem to be too worried about the ordeal as he stated, “I think when things happen, I think you meet them head-on. My legal team is handling it. It will be resolved really quickly. As a public figure, I just can’t put myself in certain situations. It’s something that I’ll learn from and just move on.”
After being released by TMZ today, his mug shot from the arrest is beginning to circulate. Green’s facial expression in his mugshot correlates to his comments and shows how little he is worried. In his mugshot, Green seems to be smiling from ear to ear as if to say everything in his world is fine.
