Pokemon GO seems like it is everywhere, but until Wednesday, the game was only officially available in three markets. Now players in the UK have access as well.

The reach of Pokemon GO  has been global, as it appears the entire world in playing the game. There are images popping up of Pokemon in every corner of the world, so it is easy to forget that the game is not officially out in most regions.

As of Thursday morning, Pokemon GO is now officially available in one more market, as aspiring trainers in the UK can now download the game directly from the Google Play and Apple App Store without any extra hassle.

Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. were the first countries to gain access to the game last week, with expectations that Pokemon GO would continue to launch internationally in the coming days. But then all of the server issues happened and Niantic Labs announced that future rollouts would be on hold until the issues were fixed.

It turns out the pause on the international rollout would not be that long, as Pokemon GO went live in Germany exactly one week after its initial launch in Australia and New Zealand. The UK launch quickly followed Germany’s 24 hours later.

For regions still waiting for the official launch of Pokemon GO in their countries, the game launching in Germany and the UK is an encouraging sign that it should be released in more locations shortly.
