Late July is a strange place in the NBA schedule. With the Las Vegas Summer League coming to a close and all the important free agents already signed to longish term deals, the NBA landscape is empty of entertaining things to talk about. That tends to create ridiculous Twitter arguments about things like is James Harden’s beard housing a bird or a mouse or Kobe Bryant stans pretending that he is better than LeBron James. Luckily for the past few late July and Augusts, Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics have come to the rescue with trade leaks. Or the opposite of that really. The Boston Celtics trade rumors are kind of annoying. And they are always present.

More from NBA

Of course that does provide a great starting place for the latest edition of the Friendly Bounce Breakdounce. Matt talks Russell Westbrook to Boston rumors, the Hardwood Paroxysm Quarterly, and the strange saga of Dion Waiters somehow not being signed by a team yet. All that plus a Pokemon Go break to catch and Eevee and more.

As always if you have any ideas about things you would like to see in future editions of the Breakdounce be sure to let us know on Twitter @FriendlyBounce and @MontaWorldPeace
