Reds: Anthony DeSclafani Waiver Wire Add
Reds pitcher Anthony DeSclafani has been lighting up the fantasy stat sheet and should be on everyone’s fantasy radar.
Anthony DeSclafani has been on the rise for three years now since being called up to the major league level by the Cincinnati Reds back in 2014. Last season DeSclafani was a nice back-end of the rotation type starter for the Reds and for fantasy teams alike.
He was one to go out put up numbers more so to just add a few more points to your weekly total. He was consistent and never blew up for you team.
This year however, he appears to be the main starter type for your roster. DeSclafani has now made eight starts in 2016 after missing the majority of the first half of the season with an oblique strain. He is off to his best start of his young career.

The 26-year-old has started his 2016 campaign 5-0 with an impressive 2.50 ERA. He is a very accurate pitcher. He has only walked two batters he has faced over his past five starts; and has only walked nine all season in over 50 innings pitched.
Excluding just his second start of the season, the right-hander has thrown a quality start in every single game he has tossed this season. With DeSclafani having such success right off the bat in 2016, it is surprising to see that he is still up for grabs in over 40 percent of ESPN leagues out there. Just this past week, 5.6 percent of leagues have picked him up, so he is being noticed. Grab him while you can off the waiver wire.
Over the past month, DeSclafani ranks sixth among all MLB starting pitchers in fantasy points accumulated. He has scored nearly 100 points in this time depending on your respective scoring settings. He is averaging close to 20 points per start.

DeSclafani will be able to help your fantasy team here down the stretch. Even if he does not continue putting up as good of numbers, they will still be good enough to help out your team significantly. Odds are he is better than most of the back-end of your rotation.
