As the USA men’s basketball team was dominating China on Saturday, Paul George found himself on the wrong end of a crossover by one of the Chinese guards. The play resulted in George stumbling backwards and going to the ground which caught the attention of everyone, including his Indiana Pacers teammate Lavoy Allen.

Considering how much Allen cares for his teammate, he wanted to make sure that George’s ankles got the proper burial they deserved, so he decided to utilize the great fundraising tool GoFundMe.

Honestly I’m not 100 percent sure why Allen can’t fund this himself, considering he has had a few NBA contracts now, but whatever. At least he is showing the proper level of compassion for George and his ankles. Not enough people do that in situations where a person gets crossed up. Tweet’s don’t pay for funerals.

Of course George saw the Tweet shortly after Allen sent it out and didn’t exactly take kindly to the gesture.

I’m not sure the middle finger emoji is the proper response to someone trying to do right by you but then again I am not an NBA player who got crossed up during the Olympics. Paul George was so he can do whatever he wants.
