Johnny Walker Blue has an estimated cost of close to $200 per bottle, making it quite a nice gift for Kershaw to send. He clearly can afford it, and has lots of time on his hands to do some gift giving. Right now, Kershaw is on the disabled list due to a back issue but is hoping to return for next month as the club makes their big postseason push.
The Dodgers are currently leading the National League West at 64-49 and trying to hold off the San Francisco Giants who are right there with them. Prior to going on the DL, Kershaw racked up an 11-2 record with a 1.79 ERA and 145 strikeouts.

As for the Rams, they have made their return to Los Angeles after leaving the city for St. Louis back in 1994. Fans will certainly be eager to see that first game for the blue and gold and it’s clear Kershaw is ready for the team’s arrival as well. Hopefully that Johnnie Walker isn’t needed to drown their sorrows as they try to improve upon a disappointing 7-9 record last season.
