Trevor Booker, like many NBA players, has a good handful of tattoos. Recently in a discussion with the Brooklyn Nets he did a video explaining what some of his tattoos mean, and why they’re important to him.

It’s a cool video and really gives us some insight into Booker as a person and how he views himself. For example, on his arm are the words “Against all odds I still made it”, because he managed to make it out of the small town he was from.

On Booker’s chest is a staircase to the top meant to represent where he’s going in life. On his shoulder is his first tattoo, the number 35, which was what he wore in Washington and should be wearing once again now that he’s with Brooklyn.
His coolest tattoo has to be the machine parts on his arm. They’re meant to represent what’s inside of him, because Booker “feels like a machine” and it’s where he says he gets his hardwork from.

The majority of the tats that Booker talked about had to do with his willingness to work hard, and overcoming tough odds, so he’s very clearly proud of where he is today. As he should be, making it to the NBA is no easy task and Booker has accomplished what many others never will.
