Shaun Draughn extends 49ers’ lead over Rams (Video)
San Francisco 49ers running back Shaun Draughn extended his team’s lead with a big touchdown run against the Los Angeles Rams.
The San Francisco 49ers have come out strong in their opener under new head coach Chip Kelly. With the Los Angeles Rams in town, the 49ers got some big runs in the first half. While Carlos Hyde busted out the big runs to give San Francisco the lead, Shaun Draughn followed suit behind Hyde and added onto said lead.
As the 49ers once again got down to the goal line with the struggles of the Rams on both sides of the ball, Draughn made a nifty move to get outside. He would then throw a nasty stiff arm and force his way right into the end zone, as the team continued to roll right over the Rams.

Things couldn’t have gotten off to a better start for the 49ers. The Rams couldn’t move the ball on offense and they were losing their composure on defense because of frustrations. The 49ers meanwhile did a good job of getting out in space and that led to scoring opportunities opening up.
It was an ugly first half, but San Francisco made sure to be the team that looked real good. As for Jeff Fisher, he couldn’t have asked for a worse start.
