Dortmund, meanwhile, are making their return to the Champions League after a year in the Europa League. Thomas Tuchel has revived the team after taking over from Jurgen Klopp at the end of the 2014-15 season. He has built on Klopp’s pressing blueprint and turned Dortmund into one of the most exciting attacking teams in Europe. They were so good last season, in both the Bundesliga and the Europa League, many suggested they were among the top 10 teams in Europe, despite their lack of Champions League soccer. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus headline one of the world’s most lethal attacking units.
