Ole Miss Rebels senior quarterback Chad Kelly uses his legs to burn the Georgia Bulldogs defense on a 41-yard touchdown scamper to put Ole Miss up 45-0.
The No. 23 Ole Miss Rebels needed a big game from its star senior quarterback Chad Kelly to beat the No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs at home in Week 4. Kelly responded to a tough Week 3 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide and had a brilliant day against the Bulldogs defense.
Kelly threw for 275 yards and two touchdown passes before using his legs to absolutely burn the Georgia defense on a 41-yard scamper to put the Rebels up 45-0 on the Bulldogs after the Gary Wunderlich made PAT.
Kelly has the ability to make plays with his legs but has been more of a pocket passer in the early part of the 2016 NCAA season. He runs the read option and sees a massive hole to his left. Kelly puts on the jets and runs into the end zone completely untouched.

Georgia looked completely out of it in this game. The Bulldogs effort on that Kelly run-pass option was embarrassing. Not that Kelly didn’t earn his way into the end zone with that run, but he went in untouched until he was in the end zone 41 yards later.
Ole Miss will move the 2-2 (1-1) on the year with a chance to save its season in SEC play. The Bulldogs were coming off an emotional road victory in Week 3 over the Missouri Tigers. Georgia is a young team and Kelly’s Rebels took complete advantage of Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs in this laugher.

This was a great game for Kelly and the Rebels to show that they can build a lead and maintain a lead. Ole Miss had previously blown multi-score leads to the Florida State Seminoles in Week 1 and to Alabama at home in Week 3.
