College football coaches are some of the biggest characters in all of sports. Here are the 25 we’d most like to party with.

On campuses all over America, the students get behind their teams, partying into the wee hours of the night after victories, and defeats. College football games turn college campuses into Partytown U.S.A, and it truly is one of the most glorious times of the year.

Here, we turn our attention to the head coaches, who seem so serious on the sidelines each game. While they may not all be party animals, here are the 25 college football coaches we would like to party with most.

25. Urban Meyer

Sure, Meyer may not be the kind of guy who’s going to split a 30-pack of Keystone Light with you, but he has the funds to put together quite a party. He currently makes over $7 million dollars per year, and can be trusted to get you home after a rough night out. Meyer is a winner, and winning brings parties.

Throughout his coaching career, Meyer has shown he has the back of his players. Whether at the University of Florida, or Ohio State University, he has been a player-first kind of coach. He will bring down the hammer if you mess up, but he will also go to bat for you. That’s the sort of support you need if you get in a pinch at a party.

Meyer seems like the kind of guy who enjoyed himself during his younger years, and you may be able to coax that out of him. He also has a history of being very persuasive, recruiting the best players in the country throughout his illustrious career. If the cops do show up to the party, he may be able to talk them into turning the other cheek.

Meyer is one of the greatest coaches in the history of college football, and judging by his current situation at Ohio State, he may add a few more titles to his trophy case. To the victor goes the spoils, and if you are lucky enough, maybe you can catch Meyer after a big win and have a few with him.
