Live tracking the full match results from WWE Clash of Champions 2016 on Sunday, September 25 from Bankers Life Fieldhouse
WWE Clash of Champions 2016 marks the first RAW-brand pay-per-view since the brand-split. With this pseudo competition ongoing with SmackDown, you have believe that RAW will look to outshine SmackDown’s Backlash show from two weeks ago. With the matches on the card for the show on Sunday, Sept. 25 from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, they certainly have the chance to do just that.
The main event of WWE Clash of Champions could well be a Match of the Year candidate. Kevin Owens is slated to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins. Not only are these too highly qualified in the squared circle, but this feud has been great. Moreover, there’s always the chance that we could be seeing another Triple H appearance considering that he spearheaded the feud by “gifting” Owens the title.
Moreover, there will be a fantastic triple threat for the Women’s Championship. Champion Charlotte defends her title against both Sasha Banks and Bayley. This should absolutely be a show-stealer on Sunday night given the talent of these three women. Clash of Champions will also feature TJ Perkins making his first defense of the new Cruiserweight Championship, facing Brian Kendrick.
Also on the card will be Sheamus vs Cesaro, Rusev vs Roman Reigns, and much more worth watching. Subsequently, you can’t afford to miss any of the action that takes place on Sunday night.
The good news is that you won’t have to. Once the Kickoff Show begins at 7 p.m. ET, we’ll be live tracking all of the WWE Clash of Champions results below.
Kickoff Match: Nia Jax def. Alicia Fox
Tag Team Championship Match: New Day (c) def. Gallows and Anderson
Cruiserweight Championship Match: TJ Perkins (c) def. Brian Kendrick
Best of Seven Series, Match 7: Sheamus vs Cesaro Stopped, No Contest

Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte (c) def. Sasha Banks, Bayley
United States Championship Match: Roman Reigns def. Rusev (c)
WWE Universal Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) def. Seth Rollins
While the end of the pay-per-view tailed off a bit, this was still a great start for RAW. There were some high-quality matches from top-to-bottom. Moreover, there were some great stories being told. And hey; they didn’t take the most obvious route ever of having Triple H interfere in the main event.
However, you have to wonder what’s next for Kevin Owens after this win. Moreover, what will Rusev and Roman Reigns be doing in the coming weeks now that the latter is US Champion? The fact that we’re asking these questions already, though, is a good sign for what’s coming for RAW sooner rather than later.
