Taylor hauled in 17 receptions on Saturday, yes 17 receptions, in a loss to Middle Tennessee State. He also scored two touchdowns in the contest, while chewing up 210 yards receiving. Over his last three games, he has scored at least two touchdowns in each contest, scoring seven TDs overall. He has certainly been a bright spot for the Bulldogs in 2016.
The Bulldogs have a solid quarterback in Ryan Higgins, who has thrown for six touchdowns against zero interceptions in his last two games. He threw for over 500 yards in the teamās win against Middle Tennessee State, connecting with Taylor time and time again. They have an explosive offense, and they should continue to put up huge numbers.
Before the season, Taylor had said that he would like to get to 100 receptions in 2016. He came one reception shy last season, and should come very close to that number again. On Saturday, Taylor also went over 3,000 yards for his career, cementing his legacy as one of the best receivers in school history. There is still a lot of football left to go this year, so keep an eye on Taylorās quest for 100 catches.
