Who did Lee Corso select for his headgear pick between the Clemson Tigers and Louisville Cardinals?

On Saturday, College GameDay’s group of Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Lee Corso took to Clemson, SC for the evening’s top game of No. 5 Clemson vs. No. 3 Louisville. Both teams are coming into this game perfect at 4-0.

Louisville’s quarterback Lamar Jackson has been the early story of the 2016 college football season. He has put on Heisman-esque performances every week, including in the beatdown of then-No. 2 Florida State.

Clemson is led by their quarterback as well in Deshaun Watson. While he’s not putting up the prolific numbers he had in 2015, the junior still has over 1,000 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns so far.

For Corso, he would have to choose between two of college football’s best teams for his headgear pick. He’s coming off a loss last Saturday from picking Florida over Tennessee. The Volunteers were down by multiple scores but came back to win the game 38-28. This ended their 10-year losing streak against the Volunteers.

So, who would the longtime analyst pick between Louisville and Clemson?

The crowd actually booed Corso’s pick of Clemson, which never happens when he picks the home team. Everyone on set even got confused at first.

This should be a thrilling game to watch on Saturday night between two top five teams. They’ll be battling for not only ACC supremacy, but getting an edge toward a potential College Football Playoff spot. Whoever wins will get a significant win on their resume, while the other will look to build themselves back up and hope to get one of those four prestigious spots.
