The Atlanta Falcons hit the road to take on the Denver Broncos in Week 5 of the NFL slate. Here are the betting odds and trends for the game.
The red-hot Atlanta Falcons will take their high-octane offense on the road in Week 5, though they may have a tough time moving the ball. The Falcons will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos on Sunday, in a matchup of an elite offense and an elite defense. Denver has gotten off to a 4-0 start behind an inexperienced quarterback and bruising defense, and should be able to take care of business against the Falcons.
Matt Ryan and Julio Jones are absolutely shredding NFL defenses this season, as the two have combined for nearly 500 yards through the first four games of the season. Ryan leads the NFL with 1,473 passing yards, and Jones is the league leader in receiving yards with 488. Sunday will be a huge test for the team, as they will be facing the best defense in the AFC.
For Denver, they could be without their starting quarterback, as Trevor Siemian sprained the AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder on Sunday. Siemian won the job over Mark Sanchez and rookie Paxton Lynch during the preseasonĀ and has looked like a seasoned vet as of late. Lynch did a nice job in relief on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the team would definitely like to have Siemian under center against Atlanta.
