West Brom face Tottenham at the Hawthorns on Saturday, Oct.15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Spurs, with only one loss in their last 13 visits, will be chomping at the bit to play West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
West Brom, even in front of their home faithful, will invariably play for a draw against a Spurs team brimming with confidence. Spurs sit in second place in the Premier League table, a point ahead of both Arsenal and Liverpool and only one adrift of Manchester City.
Conceding only three goals in seven matches, Spurs’ watertight defense is one of the main reasons the North Londoners could be on top of the league come Monday. Spurs backline, led by Belgium duo Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, have played the kind of unerring, no-nonsense defense required to challenge for the title.
Currently atop our power rankings, Spurs will need to play a disciplined, patient 90 minutes to fend off challengers Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
On the rare occasion Spurs defense has been breached, Hugo Lloris, as Spurs supporters have come to expect, has come up with big saves at opportune moments.
Tottenham, with Heung-Min Son playing the best soccer of his life, haven’t yet felt the full burden of Harry Kane’s injury.

Son took control against Middlesbrough on Sept. 24, scoring both of Tottenham’s goals in a 2-1 win. The 24-year-old has scored four goals in as many games this season and Spurs fans will be hoping he can sustain this torrid pace.
West Brom, on the other hand, have surprised quite a few people. Many pundits, prior to the start of the season, thought the Baggies were prime candidates for relegation. No one in West Brom will be celebrating at this early stage of the season, but there is a lot of optimism in the air.
The Baggies, with nine points in seven games, are nestled nicely in the middle of the table, already five points clear of the drop zone.
Tony Pulis is renowned for running a tightly organized defensive ship. He’ll look to frustrate Spurs in the midfield, batten down the hatches and counter attack at every opportunity. There’s always a chance they’ll knick one on a set piece, too.
