Who did Lee Corso select with his headgear pick on College GameDay?

On Saturday, October 15, college football analyst Lee Corso made his latest headgear selection on College GameDay in Madison, WI. This is the show’s second stop in the state of Wisconsin, as they were there for the Badgers vs. LSU in September.

Ohio State and Wisconsin have seen plenty of success in the 2016 season as both are top-ten teams. They’ll come into this game at No. 2 and 8, respectively, and will look for a win to increase their standing in the Big Ten. For Wisconsin, a victory would probably move them into the College Football Playoff picture.

However, the Buckeyes haven’t been able to be stopped this season. They sit at 5-0 and will look to get their sixth win to contend with the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

So, between Ohio State and Wisconsin, who would Corso pick on this latest edition of College GameDay?

Wisconsin has been one of college football’s best defenses. They haven’t allowed more than 17 points in a game this season, and only allowed 14 when they faced Michigan. However, the Badger offense has struggled to produce (sounds much like the Wisconsin basketball team). Their running backs haven’t averaged four yards per carry and neither quarterback hasn’t done much in the passing game.

Stopping Ohio State will be difficult, who have one of the best rushing attacks in the nation. They have multiple players who rushed for 300 or more yards this season, including quarterback J.T. Barrett. He’ll probably be more relied on for this game given the lack of quality opponents the Buckeyes have faced through five weeks.
