Chelsea enjoyed a comfortable win against Leicester in the early kickoff Saturday. Here’s how the Premier League table looks after the result.

Chelsea were dominant in the first half against Leicester. Diego Costa gave the Blues the lead in the ninth minute, before Eden Hazard made it two in the 33rd. Antonio Conte’s side were first to every ball, controlled possession and didn’t allow so much as a shot on target.

Leicester came back into the match a little after half time, as manager Claudio Ranieri moved his side to 3-4-3 to mirror Chelsea’s formation. There was an obvious improvement from the Foxes, but it was too little too late. Victor Moses added Chelsea third in the second half to give the London club a comfortable 3-0 win.

Chelsea moved up to fifth after the result, while Leicester remain all the down in 12th. Here’s the full table:

These positions are both subject to change as the rest of the weekend’s games get underway. Arsenal play Swansea at 9:00 a.m. ET Saturday and a win will extend their lead over Chelsea back to three points. Tottenham face West Brom and will be hoping to cement their place in second.

The good news for the Blues is that Liverpool face Manchester United on Monday and with at least one of those sides guaranteed to drop points, Chelsea could end the weekend as high as fourth (though that will require United to beat Liverpool by several goals).

The table makes for less enjoyable viewing for Leicester fans. The Foxes aren’t exactly in danger down in 13th, but if they can’t start getting points more consistently, the relegation battle could quickly sneak up on them.

If Burnley, Middlesbrough and either Hull or Bournemouth (who play each other) win, Leicester could finish the weekend as low as 15th. That won’t be a great way to start a week in which this team hopes to take another definitive step towards the Champions League knockout rounds against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.
