The Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks will meet in Seattle on Sunday afternoon.
The Seattle Seahawks had divine intervention on their side again against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Seahawks started the first half of the game well and weāre up 17-3 at the half. They were running the ball strong and the defense was flying around to make plays. In the second half, the Falcons finally got the ball rolling.
Matt Ryan found Julio Jones for a touchdown and Richard Sherman would flip out on the sideline. The woes werenāt over for Seattle, as Atlanta would then tie the game on a pass to Mohamed Sanu.
The Falcons were off and rolling and the game took a turn. A breakdown in coverage would lead to Seattle giving up a long touchdown pass from Ryan to Levine Toilolo. With their first deficit of the game, Seattle would have to lock in.
Late in the fourth, the Seahawks would score again on a Christine Michael run, but the extra point would be blocked. With a chance to burn clock, Julio Jones dropped a pass off his hands and it was picked off by Earl Thomas. The Seahawks would take the lead on a field goal.
With a chance to win on their final drive, Ryan would throw a pass up to Jones. Sherman proceeded to lock onto the right arm of Jones and caused him to not make the catch. Dan Quinn would lose his mind on the ref in what was a clear pass interference. Seattle stole another one and held on for a big win.
