DraftKings NHL Picks:
Rick Nash – NYR (W) – $5800
I’ll be all in on the first line of the Blue Shirts in general, but I like the idea of rostering Rick Nash at lower ownership, due to his lack of scoring in the first two games. Nash will skate along side of Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad. I’ll be looking to stack all three as they’ll be playing together in both even strength and power play situations. Nash also has some safety in cash games with his volume of shots on goal. Last year he had an iCorsi/60 of 18.89.

Nathan MacKinnon – COL (C) – $6800
While Colorado doesn’t have a favorable match up, traveling east to Pittsburgh, Mackinnon has a solid floor, while also being contrarian. Mackinnon accrued 243 shots last year and had an iCorsi/60 of 18.33.
Adam Clendening – NYR (D) – $2800
Adam Clendening is severely under priced at only $2800 on DraftKings. Clendening has averaged roughly 18 minutes of ice time in his first two games, but more importantly, he has logged minutes with the second power play unit. Clendening likes to shoot the puck and given the added power play time, it won’t take much for him to reach value. Last year in Edmonton, Clendening had an iCorsi/60 if 11.61.
Brandon Pirri – NYR (C) – $2700
If you’re looking for a super cheap tournament option, you could consider Brandon Pirri. Pirri is currently centering the 4th line, but is also playing the point on the top power play unit. He’s not safe enough for cash, due to his limited playing time, but he’s worth considering if you like the Rangers’ power play unit to pick up a few points. Pirri is another player that can rack up shots on goal. Last year, he had an iCorsi/60 of 18.30.
