Jason Spezza – DAL (W) – $5900

The Dallas Stars have the best matchup on the board, as they’ll take on the visiting LA Kings. This game should be fast paced and feature the most fantasy scoring of any game. The Vegas total currently sits at 5.5, but it is the only total at this number with the over favored (5.5 Over -125). Jason Spezza is one of my favorite plays on the slate, given his matchup and ability to accumulate shots. Last year he had 202 shots for an iCorsi/60 of 18.94.

More from FanSided

Max Pacioretty ($6800), Alex Galchenyuk ($6100) – MTL

Montreal has a juicy matchup as well. They’re currently -200 favorites and expected to beat up on the Devils at home tonight. Pacioretty had a great night for us two nights ago and should continue to produce. Pacioretty and Galchenyuk appear to have solid chemistry early, as they both have 3 points through the first 3 games. Both players are cash game viable as they’re in a great spot to score points, and should be able to collect a handful of shots.

Johnny Oduya – DAL (D) – $3300

Johnny Oduya will be a sufficient punt option tonight, given his matchup and shot blocking ability. Last year Oduya averaged 2.10 blocks per game and has seemingly carried that over into this year, where he’s averaged 2 blocked shots per game. He doesn’t have much upside, since he’s not playing on the power play units, but he should be able to reach value.

Ryan Suter – MIN (D) – $5300

Minnesota is currently listed as a -195 favorite, at home, against the visiting Maple Leafs. I like Suter from a pricing perspective. He’s a top defenseman, who will be playing on the second power play unit, but is priced down into the mid tier range. There are definitely other defenseman worth paying up or down for, but Suter falls into an area where he may go somewhat unnoticed. Suter is another shot blocker who averaged 1.73 blocks per game last year. Any time we can account for a few blocks and a few shots on net, it provides us with a sturdy floor to ensure safety in our lineups. Suter has seen a decrease in his normal playing time as he’s only averaging roughly 25 minutes per game, but given the match-up and the price, I’ll be considering him tonight.
