The NBA Regular Season tips off Tuesday with a three-game slate which means you can get back inĀ the DFS fantasy basketball game with the help of my first FanDuel daily picks of the season.

The NBA is back on Tuesday nightĀ with a three-game Tip-Off special to get the season underway for six teams. 20 more teams start their 2016-17 Regular Season on Wednesday Ā with a ten-game, jam-packed ā€œBall Night,ā€ and there are four more games on tap for Thursday when the last four teams start their season. For all three of those game nights, there are enough teams for a solid DFS fantasy basketball slate, so celebrate the return of real basketball with the help of my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides for Tuesday, October 25.

More from FanDuel

The season officially tips off at 8:00 PM ET on TNT as the defending World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers host the Knicks after some pregame pomp and circumstance. At 10:30, the TNT double-header moves to the Western Conference where we get our first look at the remade Western Conference Champion Golden State Warriors. The Warriors faithful will be fired up for Kevin Durant’s ORACLE debut as they host Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs. The non-nationallyĀ televised contest tips off at 10:00 and features a pair of playoff hopefuls from the West as the Trail Blazers host the Jazz.

As we get started with our first DFS fantasy basketball contest of the regular season, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal throughout the season will again beĀ to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need,Ā you’ll find two slides per position in this post. The first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by someĀ high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two optionsĀ with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contestĀ using stars after each selection to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’sĀ competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check outĀ my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to ā€œfantasy pointsā€ refer to FanDuelĀ pricing and scoring. Ā If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on theĀ fantasy basketball hub.
