Tyler Toffoli – LA (W) – $5700

Tyler Toffoli is my favorite play on the slate. Toffoli checks every box, including: minutes per game (20.0), home favorite, high total, playing on the 1st line, playing on the first player play unit, and a high iCorsi/60 both last year (17.41), and this year.

Aaron Ekblad – FLA (D) – $4400

The young defenseman from the Panthers, Aaron Ekblad, is one of my favorite plays on the back end tonight. Ekblad has averaged 23.4 minutes per game and has been able to accumulate 18 shots on goal in just 5 games. Ekblad’s shooting and blocked shots provide him with a safe floor, but he also has upside, as he’ll be playing with the first power play unit. Ekblad is a tremendous value at this price.

Taylor Hall ($5800) or Kyle Palmieri ($4700) – NJD

I like both wingers from the Devils tonight, as they’re home favorites against the visiting Coyotes. Both Taylor Hall and Kyle Palmieri ranked highly in iCorsi/60 last year, with Hall at 18.04 and Palmieri at 16.07. This trend has carried over into this year, where they have a combined 34 shots on net. Both players are under priced, given their match up and time on the power play.

Vladimir Tarasenko – STL (W) – $7800

Vladimir Tarasenko is my favorite option if you’re looking to spend up tonight. St. Louis will welcome in the visiting Calgary Flames, who are coming off of an overtime game last night in Chicago. Tarasenko has 31 shots on goal through just 6 games, providing him with a very appealing floor.

Value plays for the Dallas Stars. Possibly Patrick Eaves ($4400)

The Stars’ lineup is a mess right now, due to injuries. As of now, it’s being reported that Patrick Eaves is probable to play, and would skate with the first line as well as the first power play unit. This situation will be something to monitor as we get closer to lineup lock. If Eaves is good to go, he could make for an intriguing low owned tournament option, as he currently has a “DTD” tag on his name on DraftKings, and has an unimpressive box score to boot.
