A busy weekend of basketball continues as the NBA rolls into the first Saturday of the regular seasonĀ with nine games on the schedule. The Hawks-76ers game in theĀ afternoon isn’t included in most standard DFS fantasy basketball competitions, so today’s FanDuel daily picks are from the eight games tipping off at 7:00 PM ET or late.Ā With 16 teams in action, there re plenty of players to take a look at for today’s FanDuel daily picks, so check them out on the following slides.

More from FanDuel

Tonight’s action starts in Charlotte where the Hornets are one of six teams playing on the second night of back-to-back days. The Nets, Pacers, Pelicans, and Magic are all on the road for their second game while Cleveland and Charlotte are home for their second night in a row with a game. Charlotte hosts Boston while the Cavs welcome in the Magic. In other Eastern Conference action, the Bulls host the Pacers and the Bucks welcome in the Nets. Out West, there are three games including the Spurs hosting the Pelicans on NBATV at 8:00 as well as the Nuggets hosting Portland and the Kings welcoming in the Timberwolves.

To help you sort through theĀ choices from those 16 teams, I’ve selected my top playsĀ for myĀ FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal each day is toĀ give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests.Ā In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’llĀ find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by someĀ high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two optionsĀ with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contestĀ using stars after each explanationĀ to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’sĀ competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check outĀ my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

Just a reminder that in my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to ā€œfantasy pointsā€ refer to FanDuelĀ pricing and scoring.
