FanDuel NFL Picks ā Week 8
Good morning and welcome to week 8 of the NFL season. Ā This week there are 6 teams on a bye, but thankfully we have some good plays we can take advantage of. Ā Last week my cash game lineup scored 148.72 points, which easily got me within the pay line to take the overall record for my cash game lineup to 7-1 on the year. Ā Not a bad start thus far eh?
We have some great match-ups on the slate today and some great value plays due to some injuries that have popped up during the week. Ā On a smaller slate ownership percentage will likely be higher than normal on some guys, but you still need to play the ones you believe will produce enough points to get you in the money. Ā I look to continue my winning ways in the Fanduel NFL DFS main slate week 8.
A couple games I will be interested in today include the Green Bay Packers visiting the Atlanta Falcons, and the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Indianapolis Colts. Ā I think both of those games will be high scoring and I look to have most of my players come from those 2 games. Ā Letās take a look at my Fanduel NFL week 8 top cash lineup for the main slate.

Today you are going to have a TON of options on lineup construction due to pricing on Fanduel. Ā There is just 1 receiver priced over 8K, which makes it easy to get a lot of stud receivers in your lineups, especially if you roster Devontae Booker like you should. Ā He will be wildly popular, but only needs about 10.5 points to return value, which he should be able to do. Ā I choose to not fade him today in cash games because he presents so much value for his price. Ā If he doesnāt get to 2X his price, I definitely wonāt be the only one who suffers as his ownership percentage will likely be over 40%.
QB ā Andrew Luck $7,900
RB ā Spencer Ware $7,400
RB ā Devontae Booker $5,600
WR ā T.Y. Hilton $7,800
WR ā Mike Evans $7,900
WR ā Julio Jones $9,200
TE ā C.J. Fiedorowicz $4,900
K ā Mason Crosby $4,600
D ā Arizona Cardinals $4,600
I am going with the hot hand at QB in Andrew Luck. Ā He is playing at an extremely high level and will have to continue to throw due to their defense. Ā I paired him with his favorite target in T.Y. Hilton. Ā I know Donte Moncrief is back this week and he does pose a threat to Hiltonās targets, but with Hilton playing most of his snaps in the slot he will avoid Marcus Peters and should be able to get open quite a bit.
At running back I went pretty chalky, but both guys should produce. Ā Spencer Ware will continue to be the lead back for Kansas City with Jamaal Charles continuing to struggle to get his knee healthy enough to contribute. Ā He gets a nice match-up against the Colts and could be the top running back in fantasy today. Ā Devontae Booker steps into the starting role for the Denver Broncos and will get a ton of usage today. Ā San Diego gives up a ton of targets to running backs as well so Booker should have no problem getting over 10 points today as he will be involved in the passing game as well as the main runner.

At my other wide receiver spots I went with Julio Jones and Mike Evans. Ā Both guys will likely see 10 targets today, and both guys are in extremely good match-ups. Ā I think this is the week someone finally goes off against the beat up Green Bay secondary. Ā Jones is playing at an elite level, he is at home, and that offense it rolling. Ā I think this game sees a ton of points and Jones will be atop the list for wide outs today. Ā Mike Evans also has a great match-up, and he gets a ton of targets as Winstonās favorite go to guy. Ā He is a lock to reach double digit points today.
At TE I really wanted to fit Jimmy Graham in my lineup, but just couldnāt do it. Ā I will have exposure to him in tournaments today, but for my cash game lineup I went with Fiedorowicz. Ā He has become a safety blanket for Brock Osweiler and I think he can reach double digit points today against a Detroit Lions team that has been extremely generous to Tight Ends. Ā He has a shot of getting into the end-zone today.
To round out my lineup today I went with kicker Mason Crosby and the Arizona Cardinals defense. Ā Crosby will be kicking in a dome in Atlanta and Green Bay should be able to move the ball well. Ā Due to their lack of running game thus far, Green Bay should see some drives stall out in the redzone and Crosby will be forced into action. Ā The Cardinals defense gets a struggling Carolina Panther team coming off a bye. Ā I think the issues this Panther team has had this year canāt be fixed over a bye week, and Cam has struggled after a bye week in his career. Ā This Cardinals defense has some revenge motives here after Carolina beat them down in the NFC Championship game last season, and I think they get to Cam today.
Good luck this week!
