Logan Couture – SJ (C) – $6200

San Jose has one of the best projected team totals tonight, and Logan Couture should be a beneficiary. Couture has 6 points through 9 games, but more importantly, he has 25 shots and 8 blocks. Couture has the ability to provide fantasy production in multiple categories and can hopefully tally a goal or an assist in a favorable match up against Arizona.

Mike Hoffman – OTT (W) – $6000

Mike Hoffman ranks highly in the shots on goal category with 30 shots through 8 games. In addition to his safety in cash games, he’ll be playing on the top power play unit which will face off against the visiting Carolina Hurricanes.

Mika Zibanejad – NYR (C) – $6400

The first year Ranger, Mika Zibanejad, has been on fire since coming to the big apple. Through the first 9 games he’s accumulated 8 points and 30 shots. The Rangers currently sit as a -135 favorite, with a total of 5.5 (U -140). His line mate, Chris Kreider, could also be considered, and even paired with Mika.

Alec Martinez – LA (D) – $4600

If you’re looking to target mid range defensemen, consider Alec Martinez. Martinez is another player that can get it done in all categories. Through his first 9 games, he has 24 shots on goal, in addition to 19 blocked shots, and seven points. Martinez is extremely safe in cash games, but also carries the upside need for tournaments.

Nick Leddy – NYI (D) – $4000

Nick Leddy is a slightly cheaper version of Martinez. Leddy is a solid shot blocker and also has the ability to get shots on net. The Islanders are home dogs tonight, but if you like the match up, consider Nick Leddy on the back-end.
