The following is a guide for the announcer pairings of Week 10.
After a thrilling Week 9 filled with close calls among ranked teams, Week 10 of the college football season picked up with Western Michigan defeating Ball State 52-20 on Tuesday night. In addition to Tuesday night, the selection committee released their first rankings, unanimously voting for Alabama at No. 1. The SEC bias continued to be welcomed back as Texas A&M grabbed the No. 4 placement, along with Auburn at No. 9.
Proceeding with this weekend’s schedule, newly-appointed No. 14 Oklahoma travels to Ames, Iowa, a place where the Sooners haven’t lost a game since 1960. In terms of other action, most of Saturday’s feature presentations don’t get the ball rolling until primetime.
The Big Three of announcing, Kirk Herbstreit and Samantha Ponder, will voiceover a Big Ten match-up between Ohio State and Nebraska. Of all the four games they’ve met each other, Ohio State leads the series 3-1. In their last meeting (2012), both schools pulled off monster ground games (NEB: 223 yards, 4 TD; OSU: 371 yards, 6 TD).

For Week 10, College GameDay visits Baton Rouge, LA, for college football’s game of the week, Alabama-LSU. Serving as headliners for this game are two ingredients: Alabama’s defense and LSU RB Leonard Fournette. An uncontested Alabama squad is looking to contain RB Leonard Fournette, while LSU hopes to reject Alabama’s defense of their 13th D/ST touchdown. Calling this game is Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson with Allie LaForce helping out on the sidelines.
