College Football Picks Against The Spread November 15-18

College football can be a fickle beast. It is still easier to pick against the spread than the NFL, but when you pick every game, it can get tough. I struggled again last week (I know….big surprise) so I still have a big hole to dig myself out of.

More from College Football Odds

In case you don’t know what I do here, I pick every college football game of the season. Against the spread. Trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds! I take the average of the odds from all of the Vegas casinos. I then round to the nearest half. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football (soccer).

This contains the picks for FBS vs. FBS games only. It is too hard to get an accurate spread on games that involve 1-AA teams. That means you will see few SEC teams this week due to their annual November cupcake weekend.

I will assign a point value “bet” on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line.

This is for entertainment purposes only! I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions (or limbs) because of my picks. These are a guideline that you can use to help you with your picks. I am a simple man. I can’t have that on my conscience.

We have another 58 game weekend this week, with Tuesday night MACtion kicking it off tonight. I haven’t got to tallying up last week’s games yet, but I don’t think I did very well. I know I missed a lot of the key games. Hopefully the lesser-known ones will bail me out!

Let’s get to the pre-Saturday picks for the week!

Kent State(-3.5) at Bowling Green(2): Yeah, I don’t know about this. Bowling Green looks like they were getting back to respectability with a win over Akron. I think they can take Kent at home. Falcons straight up.

Ohio at Central Michigan(EVEN)(2): The Chippewas need a win here or against rival Eastern Michigan to get a bowl berth. It wont be easy because I think Ohio wins here.

Ball State at Toledo(-20.5)(3): The Rockets are hitting their stride right now. The Cardinals will be little more than a speed bump. I’ll take Toledo.

Northern Illinois(-3.5) at Eastern Michigan(3): This looks backwards. Eagles straight up!

(3)Louisville(-14.5) at Houston(2): Hey, remember when this was supposed to determine a trip to the College Football Playoff? It still could for one of these teams, just not the one that it looked like early on. However, this is too many. Give me Houston.

Arkansas State at Troy(-9.5)(2): This looks high. These are the top two programs in the Sun Belt right now. I think this stays a one score game.

Memphis(-7.5) at Cincinnati(3): Both teams have defensive issues, but Memphis has the far better offense right now. I’ll take the Tigers.

UNLV at (23)Boise State(-28.5)(4): Too many. The Broncos have only covered one spread since week 2. That was last week against a bad Hawaii team. UNLV just knocked off the team that beat Boise. Rebels stay fairly close here.
