Jeff Skinner – CAR (W) – $6200

The young winger, Jeff Skinner, has been one of the few bright points of Carolina Hurricanes. Skinner currently leads the Canes in points, with 13. While he’s fallen off of the score sheet of late, he continues to earn points in peripheral categories, such as shots on goal. Through 14 games, he’s accumulated 50 shots on net. He currently ranks 5th in iCorsi/60, at 21.63. With Skinner, you’re getting a team’s top forward, at a discounted price.

More from FanSided

Johnny Boychuk – NYI (D) – $5200

Johnny Boychuk has been one of the safest plays in cash games thus far. He lacks the ceiling we would target in tournaments, but has averaged 3.6 DraftKings’ points per game, mainly coming from blocks and shots. In 16 games, Boychuk has blocked 43 shots and taken 43 shots on goal. This game should have a decent pace to it, with the Pens allowing the most shots on goal in the league and the Islanders allowing the 9th most.

Calvin De Haan – NYI (D) – $3600

Calvin de Haan is the cheaper version on Boychuk. de Haan is another defensemen that excels in both blocking, and taking shots. Through 16 games, he’s generated 31 shots on goal and blocked 39. This is another appealing floor to consider in cash games.
