With only Monday Night Football remaining on the tilt, here are the updated NFL standings and playoff pictures through the Sunday games in Week 12.

Fifteen of the 16 games on tap Week 12 of the 2016 NFL season are in the books. The only game remaining is Monday Night Football between the Green Bay Packers (4-6) and the Philadelphia Eagles (5-5).

Since the Monday Night Football game will have no immediate impact on the NFC Playoffs standings, here is a look at the 12 teams that would be in the NFL Playoffs if the season ended today.

AFC Playoffs

  1. New England Patriots (9-2)
  2. Oakland Raiders (9-2)
  3. Baltimore Ravens (6-5)
  4. Houston Texans (6-5)
  5. Kansas City Chiefs (8-3)
  6. Miami Dolphins (7-4)

New England has the best record in the AFC East at 9-2 and would have the tiebreaker over the Raiders for the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs. The Patriots have a slightly better record against the AFC than do the Raiders.

The Patriots have a two-game lead over the Dolphins, a three-game lead over the Buffalo Bills (6-5), and a six-game lead over the New York Jets (3-8) in the AFC East standings. New York has been eliminated from the AFC East divisional race. The Jets can only make it into the AFC Playoffs at 8-8 as a Wild Card team.
