We have eight games tonight, which means that there are plenty of stars to pepper our DraftKings lineups with. Don’t forget to follow @fantasycpr on Twitter for lineup updates as we get them leading to the tipoffs of the games! I am not always able to get back in here and fix my picks when someone sits for the night, but we will update it on Twitter.

More from DFS

I am going to change one little thing. I usually create two DraftKings lineups, so I am going to start posting the both of them since the one I post usually winds up being the lower scoring of the two.

Point Guards

Best Bets:

Russell Westbrook ($12,800): Westbrook is averaging 65.2 DraftKings points per game. Averaging. Let that sink in for a minute. He also has seven triple-doubles in his last eight games. He is one rebound shy of it being eight. You know he is worth the money no matter who he plays. You don’t need me to tell you that.

Chris Paul ($8,500): Paul has been over 40 DraftKings points in each of his last three games, but we have seen him throw up a few stinkers this year. Part of it is because he doesn’t have to carry the team with Griffin back. Another part of it is the Clippers blowing a lot of teams out. That said, the Pacers are not great against opposing point guards. Four games ago, the Clippers played the Pacers. Despite that nice matchup, Paul had just 28 DraftKings points.

Honorable Mention:

Derrick Rose ($6,500): Aside from a complete bust of a game against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Rose has been really good lately. The Knicks are figuring out how to feed all of the mouths. Rose doesn’t do a whole lot of feeding, but the shots are falling. The Kings allow a lot of open ones, so Rose could be in for another game of 40+ DraftKings points.

Jrue Holiday ($6,400): Holiday has played well alongside Tim Frazier as the off guard. He struggled against the Clippers, but most guards do. His production should be more in the neighborhood of where it was against the Lakers (35 DraftKings points) going forward.

Dark Horse:

Ish Smith ($5,400): Reggie Jackson still has not been cleared to return, so Smith still has value. He has topped 40 DraftKings points in each of his last two games, but tonight is going to be a tough one. The Magic have allowed the least fantasy points to opposing point guards. How much will that drop Smith’s production? He does only need 27 DraftKings points for 5x value though.

My pick: Westbrook(PG)

DraftKings
Nov 30, 2016; Boston, MA, USA; Detroit Pistions shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (5) controls the ball during the first quarter against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. Mandatory Credit: Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports /

Shooting Guards

Best Bets:

Evan Fournier ($5,700): Fournier doesn’t have the high ceiling of Victor Oladipo, but he is a lot more consistent. Fournier has been at or above 5x value in seven of his last eight games. The bad news? Fournier was just 4-12 from the floor against the Pistons the first time they met this year.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($5,600): KCP has averaged 41 DraftKings points per game over his last four. He is a really good option with a favorable matchup. The Magic rank in the middle of the pack against shooting guards, so it isn’t a great matchup. That said, this is a very small pool to fish from.

Honorable Mention:

Andre Roberson ($4,400): Roberson has put up 47 DraftKings points in his last two games, which is a big number for him. Roberson has scored ten points in each of those two games, which is pretty much unheard of. Is this him becoming a more productive part of the offense, or is it just an aberration? At least you don’t have to pay much to find out.

Dark Horses:

Justin Holiday ($3,900): Holiday racked up 30.25 DraftKings points with Courtney Lee out with a sprained ankle. Lee is a game time decision for tonight, but if he is out again, Holiday is a fantastic option again.

Jodie Meeks ($3,000): Meeks made his season debut on Friday, picking up 17.75 DraftKings points in 17 minutes. He likely wont play a ton of minutes again, but he is facing his former team. Meeks could perform well above his price range even if he only plays 20 minutes.

My pick: Caldwell-Pope(SG), Holiday(G)

DraftKings
Dec 2, 2016; New York, NY, USA; New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony (7) warms up before a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Madison Square Garden. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports /

Small Forwards

Best Bets:

Carmelo Anthony ($7,600): The Timberwolves are actually ranked better defensively than the Kings are, so conventional wisdom says that Anthony should be at least close to his season best outing on Wednesday. That said, he struggled against the same Timberwolves team on Monday. We all know Melo loves the limelight, and he gets that at home. Which is where he is tonight. He should at least get 5x value.

Rudy Gay ($6,600): We go from the flashy  Anthony to the consistent Gay. The Knicks are the third worst team in the league defending small forwards. There is no reason for gay to be under 5x value.

Honorable Mention:

Tobias Harris ($6,100): Harris has been impressive lately, putting up 145.5 DraftKings points in his last four games. That is well above 5x value. He has another solid matchup against Orlando tonight, and it is also his former team. Harris dropped 32 on them in their first meeting, which is exactly 5x value. Harris is a solid play tonight.

Glenn Robinson III ($5,000): Robinson has played very well in the absence of Paul George. Robinson has been over 25 DraftKings points in all three of those games. If George is ruled out again tonight, Robinson is still a solid punt play.

Dark Horses:

Matt Barnes ($4,300): Barnes had a huge game against a solid Boston team. Barnes is still playing good minutes for the Kings, but he doesn’t always produce. The stats say he has a great matchup against the Knicks. That said, he had five straight games under 4x value prior to Friday’s outburst. He carries significant risk.

Solomon Hill ($3,400): Hill is still starting in place of Dante Cunningham, but he still has a low ceiling. He has only hit 20 DraftKings points once this year, and he has been under 5x value twice in the last six games, but he is starting against an average Thunder team at a bargain basement price.

My pick: Gay(SF), Harris(F), Hill(UTIL)

Power Forwards

Best Bets:

DeMarcus Cousins ($10,900): The Knicks were abused by Karl-Anthony Towns early in the week, but that was with Joakim Noah out. Noah should be a go tonight, so don’t expect much over 5x value for Cousins, even though he has been hot lately. That said, he is a much safer option than Davis.

Blake Griffin ($8,300): This is another matchup that looks good on paper with the Pacers ranking 23rd in fantasy points allowed to power forwards. However, Griffin only scored 30.25 DraftKings points on this same team a week ago. He was promptly rested by the team in their next game. Is that going to be enough for Griffin to hit value tonight?

Honorable Mention:

Anthony Davis ($11,200): There are enough bargains floating around tonight that you can likely afford both Davis and Westbrook, but should you? Davis only recorded 37.5 DraftKings points against the Clippers due to missing most of the second quarter with a shoulder injury. He didn’t seem quite his dominant self afterwards. While a day to heal likely helped, its still a lot to gamble on someone that needs to be dominant to reach value.

Kristaps Porzingis ($8,000): The offensive explosions of Rose and Anthony likely contributed to Porzingis’s lackluster night on Friday. I tend to think that it was more his 2-12 from the field that did it. He rarely shoots that poorly, so chalk it up to an off night. He should get back to his 5x value ways tonight against the Kings.

Dark Horses:

Jon Leuer ($4,600): Leuer has topped 5x value in each of the last three games. Orlando is in the middle of the pack defensively against power forwards, so Leuer should be right in that 25 DraftKings point range once again. He is a cheap source of solid value.

Kyle O’Quinn ($4,300): O’Quinn had a monster game on Friday with Noah out again, but that was the only game in which Jeff Hornacek gave him the bulk of the minutes. Considering his performance on Friday, O’Quinn will get a nice, long look again, but only if Noah is out. Keep an eye on Noah’s status.

My pick: Leuer(PF)

DraftKings
Nov 9, 2016; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner (33) tries to catch his breath while standing along the foul line during a game against the Philadelphia 76ers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Mandatory Credit: Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports /

Center

Best Bets:

Andre Drummond ($7,400): If you take away his ejection after just 13 minutes last Tuesday, Drummond has been playing well of late. He has only been below 35 DraftKings points once in the last eight games besides his ejection. His rebounding prowess virtually guarantees that he will hit 5x value.

Myles Turner ($7,000): Turner has taken on the scoring load with Paul George out. Turner has averaged 38 DraftKings points per game with George out. If George is held out again, Turner is a sure thing to get you at least 35 points.

Honorable Mention:

Nikola Vucevic ($6,300): Don’t let the fact that Vucevic is coming off the bench scare you off. He is still playing 30 minutes a game, and he has averaged 39 DraftKings points per game in that span. You can argue that he has been more of a force off the bench than he was when he started.

DeAndre Jordan ($6,200): The Pacers have been abused by centers this year. Jordan is a risky play against strong interiors, but he played well against the Pacers last weekend. He performed to a shade above 5x value.

Dark Horses:

Bismack Biyombo ($4,500): The move of Vucevic to the bench has helped out Biyombo’s production as well. Bismack has averaged 21.3 DraftKings points over that span, which leaves him right at 5x value.

Al Jefferson ($3,600): Jefferson’s production has also increased with Paul George out. He isn’t worth playing if George takes the court, but if he is out again, Jefferson has 65.5 DraftKings points in the three games George has missed.

My pick: Turner(C)
