It’s a huge Tuesday of DFS fantasy basketball action with 11 games on tap for tonight in the NBA, so get your roster built with these FanDuel daily picks.
The NBA is gearing up for Christmas weekend with 11 games on tap for tonight followed by eight tomorrow, five Thursday, and a massive 14 games on Friday. All of those slates of games have their own challenges and benefits for DFS fantasy basketball owners starting with the 22 teams on the floor tonight. The first two of those 11 games tip off at 7:00 when lineups will lock for the night. The Pelicans are in Philadelphia to face the 76ers and the Lakers are in Charlotte to take on the Hornets in those first two early games followed by Nets @ Raptors, Pacers @ Knicks, and Magic @ Heat at 7:30. At 8:00 three more games jump in on the action as the Celtics visit Memphis, the Cavs take on the Bucks, and the Spurs and Rockets meet in Houston. The last three games of the night are tipping off at 10:30 out West where the Clippers host the Nuggets, the Warriors welcome the Jazz and the Kings take on the Trail Blazers. There are a lot of familiar rivalry-type matchups tonight, so there should be some close games, good finishes, and hopefully plenty of fantasy points. The Nuggets and Pacers are the only teams playing for the second night in a row tonight while the Cavs, Rockets, Grizzlies, Bucks, Pelicans, Trail Blazers, Kings, and Jazz all have to keep in mind they have a second half to their back-to-back on the schedule for tomorrow.
With 22 teams in action, there are a ton of different ways that you can go tonight and look to make your way into the money. I’ve put together my favorite players and matchups for the day on the next few slides in today’s FanDuel daily picks. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.
I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. This post isn’t a place to just get a copy-and-paste lineup since there are plenty of places that will sell you that.
