With Adam Schefter reporting the San Diego Chargers are set to move to Los Angeles, Twitter had plenty of reactions.
The future of the San Diego Chargers has been up in the air for some time now and without a future home in place, the chances of them staying were bleak. On Wednesday night, Adam Schefter dropped a blockbuster report that the Chargers plan to announce their move to Los Angeles this week.
After spending 55 years in San Diego and having several memorable moments, it’s going to be different seeing them play somewhere else. As is expected in these situations, there were plenty of reactions on Twitter to Schefter’s announcement.
A stunner: Chargers plan to announce as early as Thursday they are moving to LA, ending 55-year stint with SD, league sources tell ESPN.

Jeez Chargers. Sorry to the Charger fans out there. You're nowhere near as obnoxious as Raiders or Broncos fans.

Why move the Chargers? San Diego is an hour and a half away. People can drive to see them from LA. Don't take a town's team like that.

Moves like this always bring out plenty of emotion from football fans. Losing a sports franchise is a tough thing for fans in a city to have to go through. Their are generations of Chargers fans that grew up watching them play and will now have to see them go somewhere else.
This is now the second team to move to Los Angeles in the last two seasons. With the Rams opening up a new stadium in the future, it’s likely that the Chargers will be joining them in the new compound.
All the official announcements will be made on Thursday according to Schefter’s tweet. We will know more then about how the Chargers and Rams will do business together in the same stadium. For now though, the fans in San Diego are losing their team and the fans in Los Angeles are gaining another one.
