After a matinee in London, the NBA has 5 games on the schedule for tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball, so catch the best plays in today’s FanDuel daily picks.
There’s a rare mid-afternoon game in the NBA today as the Pacers and Nuggets meet on NBATV all the way from London. Since that game is so much earlier than the rest, I’ll be playing the main competition on FanDuel which is focused on the other five games on the schedule tonight. It’s a spread out schedule featuring some good matchups featuring stars like Steph Curry (pictured above) and the Warriors who are hosting the Pistons. To see all the stars and sleepers that I think are good options for fantasy, check out tonight’s FanDuel daily picks starting on the next slide.

DFS fantasy owners get an extra 30 minutes to work on lineups tonight since the first night game doesn’t tip off until 7:30. In that matchup, the Pelicans visit the Nets in Brooklyn just 30 minutes before the Bulls visit the Knicks over at Madison Square Garden. At 8:30, the Spurs host the Lakers in Texas followed by another Texas team, the Mavs facing the Suns at 10:00 in another international game happening in Mexico City. The final game of the night tips off 30 minutes after that as the Warriors host the Pistons by the Bay at ORACLE Arena. Of the ten teams in tonight’s contests, the Knicks are the only team playing for the second night in a row while the Nets and Pistons will finish their back-to-back with a second game tomorrow.
With 10 teams and 50 starters taking the floor tonight, there are stars, starters, and sleepers to choose from. To see who I think are the top stars and sleepers based on form and matchup, scroll through my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.
I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show my relative confidence in the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. This post isn’t a place to find a copy-and-paste lineup since there are plenty of places that will sell you access to their picks. In this free daily post, I suggest you build your own customized team with the players that you like the most. As always, you’re welcome to check out my lineup and use it as a place to get started.
Just one more quick reminder that each day in my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.
