Get your Sunday DFS Fantasy basketball lineup ready to go for today with the help of FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks for January 22.

It’s a slow day in the NBA today since most of the sports world will be focused on the NFL Conference championship games. There are four games still on the schedule, though, throughout the day and the two on tonight’s schedule still give us enough for DFS fantasy basketball.  If you’re planning on getting in on the “hardcore only” action starting at 6:00 PM ET this Sunday, check out FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

More from FanDuel

The two games on tonight’s schedule start at 6:00 PM ET and 7:00 PM ET, but lineups need to be locked in place before the first game. At 6:00, the Raptors host the Suns who are playing for the second night in a row after picking up a close, hard-fought win against the Knicks last night. The Nuggets also played last night as they routed the Clippers and will be back in action tonight as they head to Minnesota. Those four teams give us enough stars and sleepers for DFS fantasy basketball lineups tonight.

This kind of limited-games action is very much like a playoff competitions where every pick is extremely important and who you pass on matters almost as much as who is on you roster. Each day for the rest of the season and through the playoffs, you can find FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks. The goal of this post isn’t to give you copy-and-paste lineups to use but to help you know the factors to consider as you prep the team with the players you like the most. You can see the lineup I’ll be using for tonight on the final slide of this post. I enter my lineup in mostly double-up, head-to-head, or small-field competitions since I prefer lower risk lineups to the high-risk lineups needed to compete in GPP contests.

On the next few slides,  you’ll find two slides for each position-one focused on high-salary options and one on high-value options.  You should be able to find good plays at the price point and position you need them for tonight. You’ll also see that I rank each pick with stars on a scale of 1-5. The final slide has more details on what each level means, but the short version is more stars means more confidence in the pick

If you find this information helpful as you make out your lineup, make sure to drop a bookmark on the fantasy basketball hub where every day you can find this kind of post for FanDuel in addition to one for DraftKings.  One last reminder before we tip off our coverage that all references to salaries and fantasy points in this post refer to FanDuel scoring and spending, but the general comments apply no matter how you’re playing fantasy basketball this Sunday.
