With 18 teams to pick from, there are lots of stars and sleepers to consider for your roster, so to help you sort through the best options check out FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

We get going at 7:00 PM ET when rosters lock as the Hornets and Wizards face-off in Charlotte. At 7:30, there is a huge wave of four more games including the Spurs at the Nets, the Clippers at the Hawks, the Warriors against the Heat, and the Kings visiting the Pistons. At 8:00, the Rockets tip off their matchup with Milwaukee while the Cavs visit Anthony Davis and the Pelicans while the Pacers host the Knicks. The final game of tonight’s compressed schedule gets started at 9:00 when the Jazz host the Thunder in the only all-Western Conference game of the night.
As you put your team together, it’s worth noticing that the Warriors are the only team playing on the second night of consecutive games while the Clippers, Spurs, Jazz, and Wizards are starting their week with games on back-to-back nights tonight and tomorrow.
Here’s a quick preview of what to expect on the following slides. You’ll find two slides for each of the five positions on FanDuel. The first slide looks at the players who are high-salary (usually 6K+) but have a good chance to produce. The second slide focuses on high-value options that cost less but still offer good return on investment. You should be able to find good plays at whatever price point and position you are shopping for tonight. You’ll also see that I rank each pick with stars on a scale of 1-5. The final slide has more details on what each level means, but the short version is more stars means more confidence in the pick
The goal of FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks isn’t to give you a free copy-and-paste lineup to use but rather to help you know the factors to consider as you prep the team with the players you like the most. You can see the lineup I’ll be using for tonight on the final slide of this post, but I suggest customizing to your own taste. Each night, I enter my lineup in mostly double-up, head-to-head, or small-field competitions since I prefer lower risk lineups to the high-risk lineups needed to compete in GPP contests.
If you find this information helpful as you make out your lineup, make sure to drop a bookmark on the fantasy basketball hub where every day you can find this kind of post for FanDuel in addition to one for DraftKings. One final note before getting to the picks is that all references to salaries and fantasy points in this post refer to FanDuel scoring and spending, but the general comments apply no matter how you’re playing fantasy basketball this Monday. If you have any other questions or thoughts or you are looking for any updates as the games get closer, follow @FanSidedFantasy on Twitter or you can follow my account @ZT_sports.
There are lots of options to get to, so let’s dive into Monday’s FanDuel daily picks.
