Rosters lock at 7:00 PM ET when two-thirds of the games get going with eight teams in action. In the four 7:00 games, the Clippers are in Philadelphia to face the Sixers, the Celtics are in Washington to take on the Wizards, the Raptors host the Spurs, and the Bulls head to Orlando where they’ll take on the Magic. The two other games start at 9:00 PM ET when the Nuggets host the Jazz and the Suns welcome in the Timberwolves. As you look at the matchups to target, remember that the Clippers, Spurs, Jazz, and Wizards are playing for the second night in a row while the Celtics, Bulls, Sixers, and Raptors turn around and play again tomorrow. The four teams with off days yesterday and tomorrow are the Nuggets, Timberwolves, Magic, and Suns. While you don’t have to stick only with those teams, their rotations should be a little closer to normal than the eight teams on either side of the back-to-back.
To help you know the matchups to target, check out the following slides full of today’s FanDuel daily picks. As you scroll through, you’ll find two slides for each of the five positions on FanDuel. The first slide looks at the players who are high-salary (usually 6K+) but have a good chance to produce enough to make them worth their hefty price tag. The second slide focuses on more high-value options of “sleepers” that cost less but can offer good return on investment. You’ll also see that I rank each pick with stars on a scale of 1-5 at the end of each explanation. The final slide has more details on what each level means, but the short version is more stars means more confidence in the pick.
The goal of FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks isn’t to give you a copy-and-paste lineup to use but instead to help you understand and know the factors to consider as you stock your team with the players you believe in the most. If you want to see how I’m putting my picks into a lineup, check out the final slide of this post. Each night, I enter my lineup in mostly double-up, head-to-head, or small-field competitions since I prefer lower risk lineups to the high-risk lineups needed to compete in GPP contests.
