The NBA has five games ready to tip off a new week of action in tonightās main DFS fantasy basketball contests. There is an earlier game at 6:00 PM ET which is a makeup of the Sixers-Kings game which was canceled due to court conditions earlier this season, but that contest isnāt included in todayāsĀ FanDuel daily picks since the main contest on FanDuel only includes the five games starting at 7:30 PM ET or later.

At 7:30, lineups will lock with the Heat hosting the Nets in South Beach. At 8:00, two more games get going as the Pistons visits Boston Ā in another Eastern Conference matchup while the Magic host the Timberwolves in an inter-conference battle. At 8:30, the Mavs and Cavs face off in Dallas, and the night concludes with the Grizzlies in the desert to make the Suns at 10:30. Of the ten teams in the main contest, the Mavs, Cavs, and Ā Magic are the only teams playing for the second night in a row while none of tonightās teams are playing tomorrow in any of the six games on the slate. Since sevenĀ of the ten teams are playing after an off-day yesterday with another off-day tomorrow, we should get pretty typical rotations in most games tonight.
With ten teams and 50 starters to sort through, there are lots of ways you can build your lineup for tonight. My favorite plays of the day can be found on theĀ following slides in FanSidedāsĀ FanDuel daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at eachĀ position, Ā you can findĀ find two slides for each positionāone forĀ high-salaryĀ options and one forĀ high-value options. Each pickĀ is rankedĀ on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but inĀ short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.
Just one other note, every day theĀ goal of this post is notĀ to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selectionĀ is given whileĀ highlighting the factors you need to consider when building aĀ customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see my personal lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste. Normally, my lineups work better for the more predictable,Ā lower-risk cash games instead of than the highlyĀ volatile,Ā high-risk GPP contests.
If you find this infoĀ helpful, drop a bookmark on theĀ fantasy basketball hubĀ to find this kind of post aboutĀ FanDuel every day along withĀ a similar oneĀ for DraftKings. In this post, all references to fantasy points and salary post refer to FanDuel scoring and salaries. Now that those reminders are out of the way, itās time to tip off tonightās FanDuel daily picks with this look at the top PG.
