The action starts tonight with a pair of games tipping off at 7:00. The Pelicans are traveling north of the border to Toronto to face the Raptors and the Wizards host the Knicks in the early games. At 8:00, we get a matchup of stars as Boogie Cousins and the Kings visit James Harden and the Rockets. The Spurs host Russell Westbrook and the Thunder at 8:30 while the Blazers welcome the Hornets later tonight at 10:00. In the final game of the day, the banged-up Nuggets won’t have rising star Nikola Jokic as they head to LA to take on the Lakers. Of the 12 teams in action tonight none are on the second night of back-to-back games so there should be fairly typical rotations although the Hornets, Nuggets, Pelicans, Knicks, Thunder, and Raptors do all have another game on tap tomorrow.
With all the star power in play tonight, you can build your roster a number of different ways. To see who I think makes sense and why, scroll through today’s FanDuel daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at each position, you can find find two slides for each position. The first slide is for high-salary options, and the second features high-value options. Each pick is ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but in short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.
Just one other note, every day the goal of this post is to provide information so that you can make your own decisions. I include my personal lineup on the final slide, but I do not intend to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, I think you should customize your own lineup for yourself. Normally, my lineups are designed for the more predictable, lower-risk cash games instead of than the highly volatile, high-risk GPP contests.
