When will the 2017 NCAA Tournament officially begin?
When it comes to the biggest events in sports, very few stand the test of time like the NCAA Tournament. March Madness consumes a few weeks and creates for one of the biggest sports atmospheres in the country as college basketball teams battle for a national championship.
There’s plenty of things that make the event so great. There are 68 teams that will compete until there are two teams left. Before the NCAA Tournament begins, conference tournaments will determine who makes it in and then the selection committee decides the fate of the rest of the teams.
From there, fans across the world will fill out their brackets and hope they can be the lucky one to defy all odds and fill out a perfect bracket. The 2017 NCAA Tournament will officially start on Tuesday, March 14.
The first four games are play-in games and from there those teams will make it to the final 64 and things take off from there. The best part of the tournament is the sheer amount of games going on and how quickly teams are eliminated.

This year the Final Four will take place at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It’s the first time the area has hosted the event and it will be exciting to see which teams ultimately end up there.
