Matt and Jeff Hardy could be making their way back to WWE sooner rather than later, possibly as early as WrestleMania on Sunday

As WrestleMania weekend is upon us, the eyes of the professional wrestling world aren’t just on the action that is set in stone to take place Sunday in Orlando. No, everyone has been wondering whether or not we could see the return of Matt and Jeff Hardy, a return that has been speculated for quite some time now since their departure from Impact Wrestling.

Apparently, that could be an option on the table. According to Dave Meltzer and F4WOnline.com (Subscription needed), Matt and Jeff are set to make that aforementioned return to the place that made them huge stars in the first place, and the chance is there that this return could happen on Sunday inside Camping World Stadium. The two will be in the Orlando area on Sunday — along with just about every other professional wrestler on the planet — so we can all start getting giddy about potentially seeing the Broken brothers come home where they belong.

Following an unceremonious exit from Impact Wrestling, it seems that the writing has been on the wall regarding a return to WWE. But because of the way they and Impact Wrestling parted ways, many have wondered whether or not the Broken characters that have garnered both newfound fame can even be used in the biggest wrestling company on the planet. Anthem and Impact Wrestling are claiming they own the rights to the Broken gimmick, which Matt — and especially his wife Reby — are claiming otherwise.

Whatever the case ultimately ends up being, it’s looking more and more now as if we will see Matt and Jeff Hardy back with the company either this Sunday, or Tuesday on the post-WrestleMania SmackDown Live at the latest, if that’s the brand they choose to put them on.
