Who will be part of the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class on Friday night?
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is the opportunity for everyone to celebrate some of the company’s greatest Superstars of all time. Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant are just some of the big names part of this illustrious group.
For the 2017 class, we have another worthy group of past stars being inducted. It’s led by one of the top stars of WWE’s Attitude Era, who also competed well into the 2000’s. A former top WCW talent will also make his way into the elite status.
Below is the full list of inductees heading into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame. It’s compiled of six entrants and a Warrior Award recipient, all of whom will go in on Friday, Mar. 31 from the Amway Center in Orlando, FL:
- Kurt Angle
- The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express
- Teddy Long
- Beth Phoenix
- Diamond Dallas Page
- Rick Rude
- Eric LeGrand
Angle is the headliner of this class. He became the first name announced earlier this year and will make his first WWE appearance in over 10 years. John Cena will induct him.
Rude will posthumously go into the WWE Hall of Fame. He had a terrific career in WWE, WCW and across the territories in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will induct him.
Beth Phoenix is the female entrant for this year’s class. She’s the most recent retired Superstar going into the Hall of Fame, if you don’t count Angle’s time in TNA and the independent scene.
Diamond Dallas Page is the second former WCW star being inducted. He is a three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
