NXT Takeover: Orlando live results tracker

Tracking all of the NXT Takeover: Orlando results and highlights from the show on Saturday, April 1
Whenever there is one of the “Big Four” pay-per-views in WWE, there is always plenty of hype coming from wrestling fans. Part of that is because of the simple fact that WWE is going to pull out all of the stops. However, another part of it is the simple fact that it also means that an NXT Takeover show is about to occur. That includes WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, which will be accompanied by NXT Takeover: Orlando on Saturday, April 1.
Unfortunately, there’s not quite as much hype for this next installment of NXT Takeover as there was in Dallas during Mania weekend one year ago. Part of that is due to storylines, but it’s also hard to live up to the hype of Shinsuke Nakamura debuting. However, the King of Strong Style will be in the main event this year as well.
Nakamura will look to recapture his NXT Championship as he takes on the Glorious one, Bobby Roode. These two had a great match previously, and the results should be similar on Saturday night. There are plenty of other great matches on the card, however.
Asuka will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Ember Moon in what should be an awesome match. Also on deck, the NXT Tag Team Champions, the Authors of Pain, will be in a triple threat elimination match against DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) and The Revival (Dash and Dawson). The show will also feature the debut of Aleister Black, who will face Andrade Cien Almas.
Though the buzz may not be as great, you definitely won’t want to miss out on this show. Thus, keep track with all of the highlights and results below once the show begins at 8 p.m. ET.

Next: Best match from every WrestleMania in history
Any time that there is an NXT Takeover show, it has pretty big shoes to fill. With the lack of buzz contrasted by the breadth of talent on this event in Orlando, though, this might actually pleasantly surprise some people on Saturday night.
